Subscription Refund Guidelines

Lanka Stock Portfolio ("we," "our," or "us") provides a subscription-based portfolio management service. This Return & Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds for subscription payments made through our online payment gateway.
Important: Please read this policy carefully before making a payment. By completing a payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Return & Refund Policy.
1. Service Nature
Lanka Stock Portfolio is a digital subscription service that provides:
- Online portfolio management and tracking tools
- Stock transaction recording and analytics
- Real-time portfolio performance reports
- Access to platform features and functionalities
Digital Service: As a digital subscription service, once payment is processed and your account is activated, you immediately gain access to all platform features.
2. Refund Eligibility
Eligible for Refund
- Payment Processing Errors: If payment was charged but account was not activated due to technical issues
- Duplicate Payments: If you were charged multiple times for the same subscription
- Unauthorized Transactions: If payment was made without your authorization (subject to verification)
- Service Non-Delivery: If service was not provided as described due to platform failure
Not Eligible for Refund
- Change of Mind: Refunds are not available if you simply change your mind after payment
- Account Usage: If you have used the service after payment was processed
- Subscription Expiry: No refunds for unused portions of expired subscriptions
- Violation of Terms: Accounts terminated due to violation of Terms of Service are not eligible for refunds
- Technical Issues (User-Side): Issues related to user's device, browser, or internet connection
3. Refund Request Process
How to Request a Refund
- Contact Us: Send an email to niroshlk@gmail.com with the subject "Refund Request"
- Provide Details: Include your account username, payment transaction ID, payment date, and reason for refund
- Verification: We will verify your payment and account status
- Response: You will receive a response within 5 business days
- Processing: If approved, refund will be processed within 10-15 business days
Required Information
- Account username or email address
- Payment transaction ID (from PayHere receipt)
- Payment date and amount
- Reason for refund request
- Any supporting documentation (screenshots, receipts, etc.)
4. Refund Processing Time
Processing Timeline
- Request Review: 3-5 business days
- Approval Notification: Within 5 business days of request
- Refund Processing: 10-15 business days after approval
- Payment Gateway Processing: Additional 3-5 business days (depends on bank/payment provider)
Total processing time: Approximately 15-25 business days from request to refund appearing in your account.
5. Refund Method
Refund Processing
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the transaction
- If original payment method is unavailable, we will contact you to arrange an alternative method
- Refund amount will be in the same currency as the original payment (LKR)
- Any transaction fees charged by the payment gateway may be deducted from the refund amount
6. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
Important: Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Refunds are only provided in accordance with the eligibility criteria outlined in Section 2 of this policy.
Cancellation Effects
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
- You will continue to have access to all features until subscription expiry
- No automatic renewal will occur after the current period ends
- Your account data will be retained according to our data retention policy
7. Dispute Resolution
If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may:
- Contact Us: Provide additional information or clarification to support your case
- Escalation: Request a review by our management team
- Payment Gateway: Contact PayHere support if the issue is related to payment processing
- Legal Recourse: You have the right to pursue legal remedies as per applicable laws in Sri Lanka
